Telluride Institute, June 2018
The Telluride Institute invited me to help instruct their Valley Floor Living Classroom program on water quality. I gave a brief introduction to the collection and identification of macroinvertebrates (starting around minute 13 in the video below).
Bureau of Land Management 2017 & 2018
I participated in BLM's Cottonwood days in 2017 and 2018. This program provides environmental education to local 6th graders. I was in charge of the aquatic macroinvertebrate station, which involved giving an age-appropriate lecture on the ecological role and identification of aquatic macroinvertebrates.
